대학생 중에는 학기 중이나 방학에 항상 아르바이트를 하는 상시 알바생들이 많아 파트타임 알바생보다 초장기알바생에 대한 선호도가 높은 편이다. 특출나게 COVID-19 재확산 등 경기변화의 영향으로 알바 구직이 쉽지 않아지면서 파트타임알바생 선호도가 더 높아지는 것으로 보인다.

같은 학교 문화콘텐츠문화경영학과 3학년 학생은 “용돈들을 벌고 싶어 시간제 알바를 구하려고 해도 까다로운 상태”이라며 “요즘에는 편의점과 식당에 장시간 일하다가 가게 사정으로 인하여 어쩔 수 없이 일을 그만두게 된 친구들도 늘어났다”고 이야기 했다.
