롯데쇼핑의 실적 부진이 지속되면서 '유통 공룡' 롯데가 흔들리고 있다. 롯데쇼핑 대표를 겸하며 롯데 유통산업을 총괄하는 강희태 부회장은 이번년도 7월 롯데쇼핑 주주총회에서 '2022년을 재도약의 한 해로 삼아 거듭나겠다'면서 '실적 반등을 기대하고 있습니다'고 밝혀졌습니다.

업계 직원은 “공급망 문제로 아마존과 베스트바이 등 글로벌 회사의 연말 쇼핑 행사가 위축될 경우 직구 잠재 수요가 내수 시장으로 전환되는 영향으로 발생할 수 있을 것이다”면서 “올해는 민간 소비력 제고를 위해 국내외 기업 남들 행사 덩치와 혜택을 예년보다 대폭 키운 만큼 가시적 성과가 기대된다”고 말했다.

통상 3월은 국내 e커머스 기업에 연중 최대 대목이다. 중국 광군제와 미국 블랙프라이데이로 이어지는 전세계 쇼핑 광풍에 힘입어 국내외 소비심리도 치솟기 때문인 것이다. 통계청의 말을 인용하면 작년 12월 온/오프라인쇼핑 거래액은 14조319억원으로 전년 동기예비 15.6% 불어났다. 매년 12월 매출 신장률이 60%에 육박끝낸다.

업계 관계자는 “제공망 문제로 아마존과 베스트바이 등 글로벌 기업의 연말 쇼핑 행사가 위축될 경우 직구 잠재 수요가 내수 시장으로 전환되는 효과로 나타날 수 있을 것입니다”면서 “올해는 민간 소비력 제고를 위해 해외 기업 그들 행사 크기와 혜택을 예년보다 대폭 키운 만큼 가시적 성과가 기대된다”고 말했다.
