25일 오후 4시 18분 가상화폐은 글로벌 가상자산(암호화폐) 거래소 바이낸스서 전일 대비 6.04% 상승한 4만302달러에 거래되고 있다. 국내외 거래소 업비트에서는 전일보다 3.08% 오른 4810만원을 기록 중이다. 최근 암호화폐은 수차례에 걸쳐 3만 달러를 노크했지만, 매번 실패를 거듭했다. 전일에는 중국 네이멍구 발전개혁위원회(NDRC)가 가상자산 채굴 단속과 처벌을 강화하겠다고 공지하는 등 악재가 이어졌다.
