After that big storm, my neighbor's house looks like a giant took a bite out of the roof. Shingles are scattered all over the yard, and there's a big tarp flapping where the wind tore a section clean off. The repair crew showed up early this morning, first patching the hole with plywood to keep the rain out, then starting to strip the damaged area so they can lay new underlayment and shingles. It's going to take at least a couple of days, but at least the worst of the damage is covered for now.
