My AC started making a weird clanking noise and then stopped cooling altogether. Had to call a technician to check the compressor and refrigerant levels. Turns out a worn-out fan motor and a small leak were the culprits. After replacing the motor and sealing the leak, the system is back to blowing cold air. It's a relief to have it fixed before the heatwave hits.
